Saigon, c.1973: Viet Cong photographer Lam Tan Tai, far right, poses with fellow National Liberation Force (NLF) colleagues, at Camp Davis inside Tan Son Nhut airport, where the NLF had an liason office following the Paris Peace Accords that ended American involvement in the war. Mr. Tai had managed the clandestine Viet Cong photographers for the Liberation News Agency (LNA), which until 1973 operated from the Viet Cong stronghold near Tay Ninh, on the Vietnam-Cambodia border. Mr. Tai facilitated the majority of the research and locating of ex-war photographers on Another Vietnam and died in 2001 of cancer, just prior to the book's release. Photo: © Lam Tan Tai
