Two unidentified Cambodian men, tied together at their elbows, in one of the 7,000 remaining photographs from S-21 prison. Altogether nearly 30,000 people were imprisoned at S-21 and later killed, during Pol Pot's brutal four years in power. This photograph, as well as many others, were damaged by mold and insects, in the years since 1975-8 when the prison operated. Photo: © Tuol Sleng Museum of Genocide |
